Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
These terms cover creators who use GrowStoke to build a page, collect fans and reach them. Fans who join a creator's list are covered by our Privacy Policy and, for texts, our Messaging Terms.
GrowStoke is run by Coastal Rodeo Music, LLC, doing business as GrowStoke ("GrowStoke", "we", "us"). By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.
The short version. Your page and fan list are free. You pay only to reach fans by email or text: either a monthly or yearly plan, or once per send. Plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Settings. Your fans are yours: only add people who asked to hear from you, and you can download your list whenever you like.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and able to agree to these terms, for yourself or for the band, brand or business you set the account up for.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us accurate details, including a real mailing address for your email footers (the law requires one).
2. Your fans and your content
- You own your fan list and your content (pages, messages, images, links). You let us store, show and send them only as needed to run GrowStoke for you.
- You can download your fan list as a spreadsheet at any time (Fans → Export CSV).
- You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to what you post and send.
3. Only message people who asked
- Only add fans who agreed to hear from you: through your GrowStoke pages, or directly (a signup sheet at a show, your own store or list). No bought, rented or scraped lists.
- Follow the laws for email and texts, including CAN-SPAM and the TCPA, and carrier rules for texting. GrowStoke adds the unsubscribe link, your mailing address and STOP handling for you; don't work around them.
- To protect every creator's delivery, we may slow or pause sending on an account with high bounces or spam complaints, and we don't send to addresses that bounced or complained. New accounts start with a daily sending limit that rises over the first month.
4. Things you can't use GrowStoke for
Spam; phishing or anything deceptive; illegal goods or content; harassment or hate; malware; content you don't have rights to; pretending to be someone else; or anything that disrupts the service or other creators. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why when we can.
5. Plans and payment
- Free: your page, drops and fan list, with no fan limit. To email fans on Free, you pay once per send: $5 per 1,000 fans reached, $5 minimum, shown before you pay. The email goes out after the payment clears.
- Paid plans are sized by how many fans you can email: Starter $9.99/month (up to 1,000), Growing $19.99 (3,000), Active $29.99 (5,000), Spotlight $39.99 (10,000). Yearly plans cost 10 months' price. Current prices are always on our pricing and at checkout.
- Automatic renewal. Plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each month or year, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
- Going over your plan. Collecting fans never stops. If a send would reach more fans than your plan covers, it waits until you move up a plan or pay for that send.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank details. Prices don't include sales tax; where tax applies, it's added at checkout.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Texting is a separate add-on. Its price is shown before you turn it on.
6. Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time: Settings → Plan → Card, invoices & cancel. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your page and fan list stay.
- We don't refund partial months or years, except where the law requires it.
- If a send you paid for doesn't go out because of a problem on our side, we'll refund it. Anything else that seems wrong with a charge: email hello@growstoke.com and we'll make it right.
7. Closing your account
You can stop using GrowStoke at any time. Download your fan list first, then email us to delete your account and data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that goes unpaid; where we can, we'll give you notice and time to download your fans.
8. The service
We work hard to keep GrowStoke running and your messages delivered, but it's provided "as is". Email and text delivery depends on other companies (inbox providers, carriers, and our delivery partners), so we can't promise every message arrives, or that the service is never interrupted. We may change or improve features over time.
9. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, GrowStoke isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses (like lost sales or profits), and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. You agree to cover claims against us that come from your content, your messages, or your breaking these terms.
10. Changes and the law
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email you before they take effect; continuing to use GrowStoke after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA.
